Living a ‘good life’ means more than just happiness! In this video series I’ve selected from 101 keywords and discuss how each word can impact your potential to live a more happy, flourishing and prosperous personal and work life.

This is keyword #046 – Failure.

Henry Ford said “Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently”.

To live a happy, flourishing and prosperous life you need to pursue intentional aspirational goals. As an aspirational goal seeking being, you, like all of us, will never feel as happy and fulfilled if you’re not pursuing an aspirational goal. What holds many people back from setting and pursuing aspirational goals is the fear of failure. This fear of failure can be reduced considerably when you focus on a bigger reason, a bigger WHY as your intention for wanting to pursue the aspirational goal.

The difference between an aspirational goal and an intentional aspirational goal is that you want to achieve an intentional aspirational goal because it will not only be of benefit to you, but when you achieve it, or even as you pursue achieving it, the outcomes will improve the lives of others in some way.

This is what Intentionomics is all about – the impact of your intentions on living a happy, flourishing and prosperous life – and this impacts on yourself and on others. The fear of failure is often weakened by the strength and resolve you will find in setting intentional aspirational goals.

All journeys start with the first step. Don’t let the fear of failure hold you back from a happy, flourishing and prosperous life.

When I discovered the quote that I’d like to conclude the message today with, I genuinely felt that physical tingle you get when you know you’ve been gifted with something that is truly inspirational. Thomas Edison tells us that ……

“Many of life’s failures are people who did not realise
how close they were to success when they gave up.”

Wow……don’t give up……even when it might feel like you’re failing.
