Living a ‘good life’ means more than just happiness! In this video series I’ve selected from 101 keywords and discuss how each word can impact your potential to live a more happy, flourishing and prosperous personal and work life.
This is keyword #047 – Faith
When you have complete trust or confidence in something or someone, you have faith.
Faith is an unwavering belief.
When you take stock of your truth about you and define who you need to be to live a happy, flourishing and prosperous life, you can have an unwavering belief in your strength of character and your intention to be that person.
Faith means sometimes in spite of the evidence, or the challenge, and maybe even in spite of what others might tell you, you still decide to stay focused on whatever intentional aspirational goals you might be pursuing, because you trust in your bigger WHY. Your bigger WHY or intention will often require you to faith.
As Dr. Henry Cloud says in his book Integrity, “When you accept that life can be tough, it’s no longer as tough.” Have faith in knowing that the purpose of life is to be happy, to flourish and to prosper.
The brilliance of Benjamin Franklin is obvious to anyone who has studied his philosophy and achievements. To summarise this weeks message on Faith, let me leave you with a quote from the great man…..
“The way to see by Faith is to shut the Eye of Reason.”
