This is keyword # 49 – Feelings

Sometimes you will be more aware of how you feel about something (physically or emotionally) than you will understand what’s actually causing you to feel that way. What you say to yourself, your inner voice, causes you to feel the way you feel.

This could be because of an interpretation or reaction to some external situation you find yourself in, or generated purely from within your thoughts about life. How you feel about things will cause you to make decisions and take actions. Your actions repeated become your habits and it is your habits that will lead to your success.

So you can see that your feelings are far more important than just emotional reactions to life. The purpose of life is to be happy, to flourish and to prosper. How you feel about your opportunity to live a happy, flourishing and prosperous life will cause you to take actions – either positive or negative.

Taking control of your inner voice is one of the inescapable truths for a prosperous life. The reality is that you won’t always be in control of what happens to you, however, you and you alone can control how you feel about what life presents to you… can, because you create how you feel through what you say to yourself.

This doesn’t mean you oughtn’t experience human emotions such as sorrow or anger, frustration or regret. What it does mean is that you have the choice.
